quotes

"Divide each difficulty into as many parts as is feasible and necessary to resolve it."
-- Rene Descartes

"I'm afraid of losing my obscurity. Genuineness only thrives in the dark. Like celery."
-Aldous Huxley

"In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on." - Robert Frost

"God is in the rain." - V for Vendetta

"When it gets dark enough you can see the stars." - Lee Salk

The truth will set you free, but first it will make you miserable.
~James A. Garfield

"A little girl can be sweeter (and badder) oftener than anyone else in the world. She can jitter around, and stomp, and make funny noises that frazzle your nerves, yet just when you open your mouth she stands there demure with that special look in her eyes. A girl is Innocence playing in the mud, Beauty standing on its head, and Motherhood dragging a doll by the foot."
~Alan Marshall Beck

"Boys are found everywhere-on top of, underneath, inside of, climbing on, swinging from, running around or jumping to. Mothers love them, little girls hate them, older sisters and brothers tolerate them, adults ignore them and Heaven protects them. A boy is Truth with dirt on its face, Beauty with a cut on its finger, Wisdom with bubble gum in its hair and the Hope of the future with a frog in its pocket."
~Alan Marshall Beck

"The best way to get rid of temptation is to give in to it."

"To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering, one must not love. But, then one suffers from not loving. Therefore, to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer, to suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love, to be happy, then, is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy, therefore, to be unhappy one must love, or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness."
~Woody Allen

"Do not assume that she who seeks to comfort you now, lives untroubled among the simple and quiet words that sometimes do you good. Her life may also have much sadness and difficulty, that remains far beyond yours. Were it otherwise, she would never have been able to find these words.”

~Rainer Maria Rilke

“Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real “Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. ah...the folly of love

sumtimes we think we r in it, when we r really not, and others we recognize infatuation for what it iz

but every-once-in-awhile [or lifetime]comes along that stupid person into onez stupid life and makes it all oh-so-complicated again.

to be rid of love, to be rid of suffering, to be rid of life

I'm not quite sure what to say, especially as I haven't finished reading it yet... (I always read the news, I hate watching it.)

seriously, huh? I half want to check how it's going, and half want to just wait till I see a happy headline.

I like to read because 1)it's good for my brain,2) I can get more info, and 3(or c))it avoids moments like "The recently discovered poison that's probably in your dinner!More on that at 11!" 0_0 lol

(ok, 3,or c, is a doctor who reference)

and if you think my grammar deserves pickin' on, you should re-read that "article" on post up. I did at least correct it's spelling.
