Well well well

Look at me, all fancy, using draft.blogger.com to make a post... ;)

too bad it kinda SUCKED. I coulda made this post in the regular one in half the time.

Beginning to feel like a safari

I seriously just want to know what the frig the freakish plants overtaking our front steps are, but can you find them on the internet? Nooooooo. That would be too easy. Particularly the spiny, unfriendly looking one, but I'm pretty concerned over the fact that the 8 FOOT TALL one seems to be suffering some sort of bug problem. IT'S FLAT AGAINST THE HOUSE. I don't want to deal with an infestation because the building manager's too lazy to deal with them himself (assuming he ever shows up again).

Stupid internet.

updating? Too lazy

So I was going to update this, add a 'blog list' and some favorites, maybe a new feature or two, figure out why my weather pixie isn't working, etc.

But I'm just not feeling motivated. Huh.

La Kermesse is tonight... big local event, fireworks and block party and crap. Closing the damn street is a pain in the ass though.

Speaking of the street, turns out some super-skank we went to high school with lives on this street too. dammmit.

GARRR

Ok, with that out of the way, holy freaking God, what the hell is all this shit?
My 17ish cousin is pregnant, Bean's brother's girlfriend is pregnant, they're both drug addicts, everybody's working all the time, Melisa's freaking crazy for 1 week every month (I mean well beyond what is expected or normal), and this last time she went and hurt herself. Now, on top of everything, our stupid little 'malt beverages' that we keep in the fridge are "mysteriously disappearing." Someone's drinking them and all she has to say is "I don't drink alcohol."

So, I repeat, GARRR

THE RULES OF BEDROOM GOLF

1. Each player shall furnish his own equipment... normally one club and two balls.

2. Play on a coarse must be approved by the owner of the hole.

3. Unlike outdoor golf, the object is to get the club in the hole, not the balls.

4. Course owners reserve the right to restrict the length of the club to avoid damage to the hole.

5. For most effective play, the club should have a firm shaft. Course owners are permitted to check shaft hardness before play begins.

6. The object of the game is to take as many strokes as necessary until course owner is satisfied that the play is complete. Failure to do so may result in being denied permission to play the same course again.

7. It is considered bad form to begin playing the hole immediately upon arrival at the course. The experienced player will normally take time to admire the entire course, with special attention to well formed bunkers.

8. Players are cautioned not to mention other courses they have played or are currently playing to the owner of the course being played. Upset course owners have been know to damage a player's equipment for this reason.

9. Players are encouraged to have proper rain gear along, just in case.

10. Players should not assume a couse is in shape for play at all times. Some players may be embarrassed if they find the course to be temporarily under repair. Players are advised to be extremely tactful in this situation. More advanced players will find alternate means of play when this is the case.

11. Players should assure themselves that their match has been properly scheduled, particularly when a new course is being played for the first time. Previous players have been known to become irate if they discover someone else playing what they consider a private course.

12. Players are advised to obtain the course owners permission before attempting to play the back nine.

13. Slow play is encouraged: however, players should be prepared to procede at a quicker pace, at least temporarily, at the course owners request.

14. It is considered outstanding performance, time permitting. to play the same hole several times in one match.

15. The course owner will be the sole judge of who is the best player.

16. Players are advised to think twice before considering membership at a given course. Additional assessments may be levied by the course owner and the rules are subject to change without any warning whatsoever. For this reason, many players prefer to continue playing several different courses.
