And Thursday was even warmer. I actually had to retreat to the airconditioning... I hate ac. I like hot temps. But today was 97, with the humidity making it feel like well over 100. Back into the 80-85 range tomorrow.

Gave my resume to a vet hospital today... I'm probably going to get a job in the kennel. Full time, 4 days a week, insurace, money to buy my work clothes, under 40 minutes away, AND I can move up from where I'm hired, which will be a huge help in my goal of BEING a vet. I'll let ya'll know how it goes.
My niece has mild jaundice, but she should be ok tomorrow.

me had to look up jaundice in wikipedia since my only knowledge of it comes from mom's experience during her childhood..was forced to eat boiled fish and nothing else, somethin like that.
the reference did say that the kind Jean contracted iz probably the mild kind :)

so. me here with nose stuffed into a paper-towel, eyez shutting on me..not a flattering sight.
but {{grinz}} tis signs o' detox, so im happy, kinda.
not sure whether this is what da first song iz bout, but..
being somewhat different from other kids, i kinda felt left out. sometimes, i choose to be that way. liek, purposely avoid social functions and other 'normal' activities that kids my age used to engage in..
@ 18 i flew overseas. funny thing iz, that being different thing just helped to fit in cuz i was always different from everyone else, e'en in my own country!!!
we base our differences on so many factors, y'know? the important thing iz to see past the outer shell...to what lies inside.

but this can only happen if someone is willing to make that leap. hei, im guilty of freeze-framing myself too. not 2 days ago realized that worry was eating me cuz i wasnt sure what i was supposed to be like
